The C-218 is the perfect choice for those needing to fly their subwoofers in line with their C-series line array cabinets. The clam-shell design of the C-218 makes it an optimal choice for throwing applications. It is a 1200w RMS continuous cabinet, and works optimally flown and in conjunction to ground stackable subwoofers such as our E-218. The C-218 can also be reversed ground stacked and used as a platform to stack line array top boxes. The ultra low frequency response (capable of handling down to 30hz) makes this subwoofer a perfect selection for any performance application needing an extreme amount of bass response, specifically outdoor applications, large halls, arenas, and any other mid-sized to large application.

Our entire subwoofer product line is hand wired using premium 14 gauge wiring. All of our drivers are built using a durable cast fame basket designed for longevity. Our components have proven track record on tours ranging from stadiums to festivals of up to 30 shows per month with practically a nonexistent failure rate.

All C-218 enclosures are equipped with a removable back panel where the NL4 input/output connectors along with the bi-amp/full-range selector switch are located. This back panel can be disconnected from the internal multi pin connector and quickly removed. In place of the passive back panel, our customers have the option to purchase and install our 3 channel digital switching amplifier module. The module can be quickly and easily connected, allowing for a seamless conversion from non-powered to a self powered array system. The module is connected to the passive enclosures with Neutrik NL4 connectors. Each amplifier module is powered by "ICE" and offers an integrated active crossover system along with DSP correction that has been fine tuned in an anechoic chamber to provide the user with chambered flat response.

As stated prior, the non-powered version of the C-218 can be operated in two modes depending on which the user has selected on the back panel of the enclosure. In full range mode the C-218 subwoofer is wired at 4 ohm, and both drivers are powered together. In full range mode (pin +1/-1) carries the entire signal for both sub drivers. The second option is bi-amp mode in which allows the user to power each 8 ohm driver separately, for easier pairing with the internal amplifiers. In this mode (pin +1/-1) carries signal for one driver and (pin +2/-2) carries signal for the second driver.
